    Analysis of arguments, clear and precise expression of one's views—particularly in writing—and the ability to comprehend complex systems of thought are skills cultivated by philosophy courses that are useful in all areas of life. Our students find their philosophy background particularly useful for many professions, including law.

    Philosophy Department Day Schedule:

    8:45 a.m.  Register in Bonta Admission Center (100 N. Hannah St., Albion, MI)

    9:15-10:20 a.m.  Experience a Philosophy class, your choice:
    (Students only.)

        PHIL 101 – Introduction to Philosophy with Dr. Dan Mittag
        PHIL 335 – Philosophical Issues in Law with Dr. Bindu Madhok
        
    10:30 - 11:30 a.m.  Q&A with the Philosophy Department
    (Parents and friends welcome.)

    11:45 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.  Campus Tour, Meet with Admission Counselor, Attend a Class
    in a Different Department or Experience Another Philosophy Class
