Music Department Day

A visit on our November Music Department Day will give you the best way to explore what life as an Albion music student is like.  You'll follow an individualized itinerary with choices based on your musical interests: sitting in on classes, rehearsals and lessons; hearing student performances; meeting with faculty; or even auditioning for an Albion music scholarship while you're here!

Schedule for the day

9:30-10:30 am: Albion Music Information Session 
Find out about Albion College’s vibrant music department and ask current students about their experiences here.

10:30-11:15 am: Attend our Music Theory class with the students you met in the first session. 
Experience what it means to study music at a different level. Students will shadow current Albion Students.

11:15-12:30 pm: Lunch at Baldwin 
Eat lunch in our campus eatery with current students

12:30-1:00 pm: Meet the Faculty
The Albion College Music Faculty will to a brief meet and greet with the students

1:00-2:00 pm: Music Major Meeting
Hear current Albion College students and faculty perform at our weekly Music Major Meetings. 

2:00-3:00 pm: Q & A with department Staff and Faculty
Potential students will have the opportunity to ask questions to an admission counselor, current faculty and staff, and current student musicians.
