    Join us for a day infused with the colors, processes, and insights of the visual arts. Art students and Art and Art History faculty will offer hands-on projects, a window into the life of a visual artist, and a chance to see what a bright, engaging future in the arts can offer you. Don’t dress up, as art projects can linger in your mind and on your clothes!
    Schedule for the day
     
    10:00-12:00: Smart Phone – Photography professor, Ashley Feagin will talk about composition and editing images using contemporary photographic applications.  Bring your smartphones!  Book Arts professor, Anne McCauley will join Ashley in demonstrating how to transfer your photos onto fine paper in a book structure. Printmaking studio. (students only)

    12:00-1:00: Lunch - Join Albion students and faculty for an informal lunch in Bobbitt Art Center to discuss opportunities within the Art and Art History Department (parents and friends are welcome) including:

    • NY Arts Program 
    • Albion Associate/Student Workers 
    • Internship opportunities 
    • Off-Campus Programs  
    1:00-3:00: Art Historian, Bille Wickre will present a lecture on Southwest Indian pottery in Bobbitt auditorium followed by a coil pot workshop conducted by Ceramics professor, Lynne Chytilo.  Art Annex. (students only)
